This project aims to bring together 48 young participants from 8 European nations in a 6-day program focused on advocating for a healthy eating lifestyle.
The goal is to empower them to become European ambassadors of a fresh gastronomic approach and promote conscious consumption aligned with modern challenges. Through a comprehensive needs assessment, it seemed evident that addressing nutritional guidelines and fostering healthy habits, particularly among youth, is crucial. Common barriers such as time constraints, reliance on convenient but unhealthy options, and perceived blandness of nutritious food often lead to unhealthy eating habits, paving the way for the proliferation of fast food culture. This project seeks to combat these issues by instilling a new food ethos that prioritizes individual dietary needs, environmental sustainability, and overall well-being.

The objectives that the project aims to achieve are:
-
To increase the feeling of community among young people by sharing cultural similarities and differences.
-
To encourage young people to make informed food purchases, taking into account various factors.
-
Encourage young people to promote healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyles.
-
To frame the problem of food allergies at the European level, increasing intercultural dialogue between young people with similar problems.
-
Improve knowledge of the production processes leading to the sale of a food product.
-
Improve the practical skills of young people through activities that stimulate manual dexterity and critical thinking.
-
Promote European values among participants.
-
Promote tolerance, mutual understanding and dialogue between young people of different nationalities.
