PROJECT: KA1 YOU_SAVE

KA1 2023-3-ES02-KA152-YOU-000174833

Erasmus Plus

“Youth Save The Planet" was born from the need to raise awareness among young people about the value, care and safeguarding
of the environment and our planet.

We aim to promote respect, unity and tolerance of other cultures, that look in the same direction: knowing and mitigating the effects of climate change.

The project wants to create a green and multicultural space in which young participants will have the opportunity both to debate the proposed topics through opinions, and to acquire new knowledge on the subject.

The objectives that the project aims to achieve are:

  • To provide young people with accurate and updated information about climate change, its causes, impacts and solutions, through different activities (talks, workshops, games).

  • To motivate young people to get actively involved in the fight against climate change. This may include the organizing awareness campaigns, and promoting sustainable behavioral changes in their daily lives.

  • To empower young people to become leaders in the fight against climate change.

  • To encourage collaboration: Climate change is a global challenge that requires collaborative efforts. Young people should be encouraged to work in collaboration with other youth organizations, educational institutions, governments local and other relevant actors.

  • To inspire long-term change: in addition to raising awareness about climate change in the present, it is important to inspire young people to take long-term actions and become agents of change throughout their lives. This can be achieved by promoting role models, success stories and examples of young people who are having a positive impact in the fight against climate change.
