Activities

Get ready for an exciting and diverse learning experience focused on the environment! Our activities are designed to be dynamic, engaging, and hands-on, blending non-formal learning with experiential methods. From interactive workshops to outdoor expeditions exploring the vibrant city of Madrid. The project is designed to learn in varied settings and make an impact on your understanding of the environment. 

Activity 1

" Interview about climate change"

The participants, divided into groups of two (of different nationalities) in groups, conducted interviews and obtain testimonials on the subject of exchange. They asked also about the project and the Erasmus + values.

Activity 2

"Taking measures"

Participants by country had to look for information and research on 5 measures that their countries carry out against climate change, they had to write them down, and then show them to others. When all the countries have presented their measures, the best measures were discussed, and how to transfer those from one country to another.

Activity 3

"Session with expert"

An expert in environmental sciences gave a talk about climate change, the situation and the negative effects it would entail. The experts, "The Climate Fresk" community, told about the effective steps we can all take. Following the talk, there was a game and Q&A session.

"Green photography"

Activity 5

"Upload your pic"

The participants went to the streets in groups of 2, and looked for the best photograph, related to caring for the environment, or with some measure against climate change 

Photographs are uploaded to the social network of the project, and the best one was awarded, and the one that is most related.

Activity 6

"Creative challenge"

A creative challenge proposed, an art contest, where participants, divided into groups, was able to express their ideas and solutions on climate change.

Activity 7

"Your decision can

change the planet"

Through this activity, different simulations/cases were analyzed by the participants, who, in teams, studied each simulation or case, and faced the challenges proposed by climate change.

Activity 8

"Draw your logo"

Participants were divided into teams and developed their creativity and imagination and create the project logo. The topic was climate change and everything they think was related to the project.

Activity 9

"Design by recycling"

Participants, in groups of 5, had to collect recyclable materials and "design" a suit or costume, with the objective of knowing the reuse of products and recycling. One participant per group tried on the suit and the best "costume" was awarded.

Activity 10

"Walking tour"

Walking tour of Madrid with an expert guide Q&A session, discussions.
Visit the gardens of the temple of Debod in Madrid and its spectacular views.

Activity 11

Environmental gymkhana

The idea is to divide the participants into groups of different nationalities and discover Madrid with a large "Gymkhana" where the fight against climate change was taken on special prominence. Through different questions they had to advance to the final clue. They had to take photographs and to get the clues, they asked by local people, so they became part of the citizenry.

Activity 12

"Green guided tour"

Guided tour of the Retiro Park in Madrid, where participants learnt about the importance of this green lung in the center of the city of Madrid. In it, they watched orchards, different types of trees, the oldest tree in Madrid, etc

Activity 13

"Awareness campaign

against climate change"

The participants, divided into teams, orchestrated a
small campaign to raise awareness about climate change, where they involved citizens, through learned or created measures. This campaign was carried out in Retiro Park.
